Transparency resolution

There has been a hearing scheduled in early Feb for the case on Transparency (resolution 2023-07).

Rules tried to ban Adelante from participating in the case on Transparency. We are thankful that Secretary Michael was present to make a case for Adelante participating in the case.

Ceasefire resolution

Still awaiting a hearing. DPNM sent out an email that was not sufficient a replacement for Resolution itself. Jane responded with an email to the Executive committee with an email imploring the furthering of our Ceasefire Resolution.

Judicial Council issues

Rules on the Judicial Council are not transparent and this makes it really hard to recruit and participate in the DPNM party. Rules can choose how fast or slow they complete issues. Sean Ward said that SCC emails are only allowed to be used when campaigning for SCC position, yet folks from the Rules have used that email list for many reasons. There seems to be a pattern of behavior from the Rules committee. Possibly work with other organizations in support like universities.

Adjournment

The meeting adjourned.
