Meeting Change

Our August meeting has been changed. The news plans are for:

The meeting will feature Garrett Mason-Frye, president of the New Mexico chapter of the High School Democrats of America. He will speak about youth involvement in politics.

 

Energy and Climate Change

If you are interested in energy and climate change and available on Aug. 8, you have a dilemma between two events. You can also attend another event in September.

Democracy Dollars

Supporters of ABQ Democracy Dollars have turned in petitions to get the proposal on the ballot in November.

According to the Albuquerque Journal: “A group of election advocates has submitted a petition with more than 27,000 signatures in an effort to place a revamped public financing proposal before voters in November.”
